CogX began as a daily newsletter, weekly dinners and meetups for the small but growing community researching, building and investing in AI. A decade and 100,000+ people later, that community is still what we're here to serve — now through the channels that bring the right people together rather than one giant event.

CogX Labs
A platform venture studio building the next generation of AI-native companies.
CogX Labs is a platform venture studio — a venture studio that builds every company on one shared platform rather than rebuilding from scratch. That shared stack runs deep: software we've already written, a full technical stack, our processes and methods, SDLC tooling, operations, and proven contracting models and templates. It lets a founding team go from idea to market in a fraction of the usual time, instead of joining the slow, wasteful proliferation of startups all solving variations of the same problem.
We're hypothesis-driven. We partner with exceptional founders who share our conviction about where value is moving, co-create the company with them, and accelerate it with the platform and our global community. The data and the application layer always remain the property of each portfolio company.

As AI accelerates, models are vastly more intelligent but still unreliable. Every business needs a continuously updated source of ground truth — and an always-on, proactive agentic layer that acts on it. We build that as a living model of an entire sector.

About CogX
CogX began in 2015 with a daily newsletter, weekly dinners and meetups — bringing together the small but fast-growing community researching, building and investing in artificial intelligence. From 2015 to 2017 we hosted over 100 gatherings and built one of the earliest directories of AI, with more than 4,000 products and technologies listed.
In 2017 those dinners became the UK's first major AI festival, asking how AI would reshape industry, government and society. We scaled fast — from 1,500 people to tens of thousands of registered attendees within three years. Then Covid hit events hard, cutting our revenue by over 75%.
We came back with our most ambitious event yet at the O2 Arena in 2023, followed by summits in Los Angeles and London with extraordinary line-ups. But the economics of large-scale events no longer worked, and we wound the Festival down in 2025 — with enormous gratitude to everyone who was part of the journey.
The mission hasn't changed. The model has.
