About CogX
CogX started in 2015 with a daily newsletter, weekly networking dinners and lots of meetups. From 2015 to 2017 e hosted over 100 of these gatherings - bringing together the small but growing and passionate community of people researching, building, investing in and thinking about artificial intelligence in London. We also built one of the earliest Directories of All Things AI with over 4,000 products and technologies listed.
In 2017, those dinners led to us hosting the UK’s first major AI festival looking at "The Impact of AI on Industry, Government and Society". Our ambition was to be the Glastonbury of AI. So we scaled from 1,500 people in 2017 to 6,500, to 20,000, and to 44,000 registered attendees by 2020 - just 3 years from the first Festival. Covid was tough for everyone, and especially for events when we saw revenue drop by over 75%.

For 2023 we came back with a bold vision for our most ambitious event yet at the O2 Arena. The speaker line up was incredible. In May 2024 we hosted a CogX Summit in Los Angeles welcoming over 2,000 delegates - the energy was incredible. In October 2024 we host a CogX Summit at the legendary Royal Albert Hall in London with headliners including Tony Fadell father of the iPhone, Debbie Weinstein, President of Google in EMEA, and Thomas Wolf Co-Founder and CSO of Hugging Face.
The mission hasn’t changed. The format has.
